ELDERLY CARE
Most of us will require some sort of assistance as we grow older.
Our key aim is deliver a personal, friendly and reliable alternative to the the traditional care home. That way, we help clients remain independent within the privacy of their own homes supported by highly-trained care workers who’re on-hand to help with everyday household chores, trips to the shops, cooking, cleaning and even higher-level nursing support. We’ll even assist with social trips outside of the home.
Our elder care services are highly-personalised. Meeting with both clients and their friends and families initially, we’ll design a care plan taking every possible requirement into consideration. Once that care programme is in effect, we’ll conduct regular monitoring against mutually-agreed goals that were set out to begin with. This helps our clients maintain a level of control over the way their care is administered.
DEMENTIA SUPPORT
DJ Healthcare’s dementia teams receive specialist training to equip them with deep knowledge and understanding of the disease in its various forms and stages. This knowledge is coupled with ongoing skills training to ensure that our clients have access to the cutting-edge techniques which will help them to live safe and active lives. Our dementia support plans are always based on the needs of the individual clients, putting the person, not the disease, first.
We understand that this disease effects not only the person suffering from dementia, but also their families. We also recognise that welcoming someone into your home to care for a vulnerable loved one requires a great deal of trust. That is why we work closely with the families of all clients to develop tailored care plans and provide regular opportunities for feedback from both parties.
LIVE-IN CARE
There are many reasons why people may require live-in care; whether you are in need of a little companionship, leaving a loved one for a short break or you simply need that additional support if circumstances are becoming increasingly challenging for you or a loved one.
Live-in care offers unique full-time one-to-one support to both individuals and couples in the familiar surroundings of their own home, ensuring that you or your loved one can remain as independent as possible and avoid the need for a care/nursing home placement. Our live-in service is tailored to each person’s needs and aspirations, no matter what their level of dependency.
Having a full-time Care Worker not only provides you with personal guidance and support, but also reassurance and peace of mind to family and friends situated close by or further afield. The permanent presence of a live-in Care Worker enables family and friends to be confident that help is on hand when and where needed.
Our live-in care service is available to younger and older adults and can be utilised both on a long-term or short-term basis, for needs of high level dependency and complex conditions to assistance in rehabilitation or companionship. Whilst we will tailor a care package to suit your needs, please refer to the Personal Care Services page for an overview of the traditional services we offer.

RE-ABLEMENT / SHORT TERM CARE
Sometimes people just need a short-term package of care. Whether it is to support you during a short period of illness, helping you to get back on your feet following an operation, or even to help build your confidence after a fall. We can design a highly personalised care programme to re-able you or your loved back to full health and independence. Whether you need support with your personal care requirements or daily living activities, DJ Vision Healthcare can help.
Our specialist re-ablement teams work alongside healthcare professionals to make your transition from hospital to home as smooth as possible.
Our re-ablement service is flexible, meaning the level of support you receive can be adjusted to meet your changing requirements. As your condition improves and your support needs decrease, we can step-down the level of care you receive.
We aim to actively support you to regain your independence as quickly as possible and avoid the need for costly ongoing care.
If you would like more information about our short-term re-ablement services and how we can support you or your loved one, please contact your local branch who will be happy to assist.
